MUA TRIO EYESHADOWS

Most of you who read my blog regularly would probably of heard about MUA by now

Well my mum purchased lots of MUA goodies due to my advise! However she has very sensitive skin and eyes and these gave her itchy eyes ! :( however this ment she gave them me an i have never had any problems with MUS yeyyy :D

The MUA Pro Eyeshadow Trio's are £2.50 each and I got the purple haze and smokey eyes trios.

The quality of the eyeshadows are outstanding as I have previously mentioned on other MUA posts ! They're very pigmented , as you can see in the pictures below. Within a 2-3 swipes you get the pigmentation as showen above , there also easily build able and blend able. You get the odd bit of fallout , but nothing too extreme.

These eyeshadows always last all day and don't crease at all, the same as when i applied them in the morning. They also show up very pigmented on the lid and bold. The shades in each individual trio all complement each other very well , so these products are key to creating the perfect eye look, using the highlighter, inner and outter corner eyeshadows!

Another nice little thing is that on the back it provides pictures and instructions on how to create the perfect eye !

These eyeshadow trio's come in 7 different shades , ranging from blacks to blues to browns. So theres plenty to choose from. There is definitely a perfect trio for anyone in the MUA range. I would highly recommend these to anyone who's looking for a great quality eye trio on a budget, these are fantastic value for money and with such a great result and pigmentation you can't say no !!

Bare minerals blush review and haul

I had never used Bare minerals before however i saw a blog sale on twitter where a blogger was selling brand new the foundation for £5 and blushers for £2.50 so an absolute bargain if you ask me !!!

The makeup arrives in tinyjars, but a little does go a long way

This blush and foundations are free of parabens, binders, fillers, and no harsh chemicals. The blushes are very pigmented and go on really smooth. On the Bare Escentuals website, they say that the blushes last a good 8 hours.

Bare minerals states -

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals Features

  • Uses a healthy mix of 100% pure bareMinerals
  • Keeps your skin clear of preservatives, fillers, binders, and build-up
  • Gives your face a warm, beautiful hue
  • Provides a pop of pure, vivid color
  • Works beautifully for all skin tones and types, including sensitive and problem-prone skin

  • Golden Gate

    Pink Ribbon

I have been using both the foundation and blush for over a month now and use it daily. I love how soft and silky the powder is and it almost applies like a cream rather than a powder. I am in love with the products and will most definitely be purchasing Bare minerals again, even with its £22 price tag.

    Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

Hi guys sorry for the delay i have been swamped with uni work and sorting things out for placement and then my friend came back from spain so spent some great valued time with her !!! Busy bee i know ! but hopefully i will be able to get back on top of blogging and this post is loooooooooooong over due !

I bought this brush after seeing my friend Amy using it when she slept over, and she told me how great it was and so thought i had to buy it !!

I bought it from Beauty chamber for £9.99,   Bargain !

The Expert face brush is described as ultra firm and broad for application and blending of cream and liquid foundation. Don’t let the ‘expert’ scare you though, cause this brush is very easy to use and completely fool proof.

Like all Real Techniques tools, this brush is synthetic and completely cruelty free, made with the softest taklon bristles like seriously soft !! words cannot describe how soft ! It doesn’t shed and washes out very easily. It dries surprisingly fast for a synthetic brush and keeps its shape.
The aluminum handle feels nice and sturdy and get’s heavier toward the bottom. The foot of the brush is covered in soft anti-skid gum.

Before buying this brush I had never used a brush to apply foundation but since buying it this is my new favourite go-to brush for applying liquid foundation, I absolutely adore it!
I use it every time I apply foundation, powder and liquid and it really does have a photo finish airbrush effect.
My make-up last all day and night and doesn't need touching up AT ALL !!

Its such a simple brush to use with either strokes or circular movement and I don't think I could apply my make-up without it now !

I ADORE THIS BRUSH AND WOULD GIVE IT 10/10 I CANNOT FAULT IT

    Good enough to eat !

I went into body shop the other day and they had offers on their body butter and shower gel. The shower gel was £3 and the body butter £8 instead of £12 :)

I Picked up both the shows gel and body butter in the strawberry scent.
Also if you have a body shop card you get 10% off all purchases :) and at the end of my receipt I got £10 off my next £25 shop aswell as my 10% so can't go wrong !!

    Anyway onto the review :).....

I personally can't resist the smell and the touch of this body butter on my skin, the smell is to die for and you smell good enough to eat !!

It applies smoothly and is VERY moisturising !!

The body butter is enriched with strawberry seed oil, Community Trade cocoa butter and shea butter. The smell and moisturisation lasts all day long and I can still smell the strawberries on my skin the next day!

This is a product which i will definitely keep going back for and will even be getting the coconut one as thats smells divine !!!

I will not only be getting this product again because of its yummy smell and softness but also for its quality & price and longevity of the product ! A small amount goes a long way and this product will last me a long while !! :)

So get moisturised up and smell good enough to eat !!!

Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder

The ultra fine and soft texture of Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder makes it easy to apply to your face and decolletage. The result is a totally natural, healthy, bronzed glow.

It looks like a chocolate bar and sorta smells like one too.  The packaging is carboard, and it opens like a little book, with a heavily magnetized closure, to reveal the chocolate bar-shaped bronzer inside.  For cardboard packaging, it's pretty decent.  I'd say it feels on-par with Benefit's packaging, and it's much less expensive.

The bronzer itself smells like chocolate ----overall rather delicious without being too sweet or foody.  The scent won't linger on your skin, The bronzer swatches as a medium based brown that's 90% matte with the tiniest amount of sparse gold shimmer.  I saw complaints on Makeupalley about this not being very pigmented.  I had the exact opposite experience.  This stuff is so ridiculously pigmented that I need to be very careful with how much I get on my brush otherwise i look very orange !!

The pressed powder feels very finely milled and goes on smoothly, blending with little effort.  you do need to be careful not to overload that brush and end up looking like Snooki.  Given that, though, this Bourjois bronzer lasts a very long time, especially on my oily skin and  If I apply it in the morning and I want to go out 12 hours later, I'd do a touch-up, but it really does stick around for most of the day.

Buy it now for £4.99 at boots instead of the usual £6.99

Daniel Sandler Water Colour Blush and Brush

The colour i received was chic and its more of a pink with orange undertones blush like a bronzer almost. Its a great colour especially for summer.

The great thing about these blushes is that they feel weightless on and because of that they blend so easily. The colours are also exactly as they are in the bottle so no horrible suprises when you actually use the product :)

                                       Without Flash                                                          With Flash
Pea sized amount is all that needed !!!

The bottle, although small, will last for ages as you only require the tiniest amount for each cheek.  You have to be very careful when tipping it out though as it can be quite runny and you also need to remember to shake it before dispensing as the liquid within can separate a little. It retails at around £14.

The shade is lovely and is becoming a favourite blush of mine as i tend to just wear bronzer ! the water colour blush is highly pigmented and long wearing !!

I also received the water colour brush.....

The brush is super soft and really easy to use !! The brush retails at £15 and the blush can easily be applied with the fingers so although the brush isn't necessary it is a lovely brush !

    So what's the result......

    With Flash

                                                                         Without Flash

Please ignore my horrible face as i have no make up on except the blush !! lol

Overall i really love this blush and brush !!! i think i will definitely be treating myself and buying one when it eventually runs out but this could be a while !!!

    4/5

What do the experts say ...

"The Cosmopolitan award-winning Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush contain a light synthetic rose fragrance called Timbuktu to make application a nice experience. It contains Vitamin E and Jojoba to enhance application and nourish skin. Daniel Sandler chose synthetic as there's very little chance of an allergic reaction.

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush is silicone based, oil free, doesn't clog pores and suits every skin type. The silicone makes it virtually rub-off proof plus waterproof. Lifts all skin types with an instant radiance."

    Max factor Fantasy fire

So i know quite a few people have posted about this nail varnish but i have only just got it as i won it !!

I recieved this nail varnish along with some other AMAZING goodies from Charlotte over at carlottasbeautyspot. I absolutely love her blog and was amazed at the fact i won one of her competitions. I can honestly say i was jumping around the room :)

     Here's what i won....

    Daniel Sandler Water Colour Blush
Daniel Sandler Water Colour Blush Brush
    Max factor Fantasy Fire Polish
and a lovely card which has one of my favourite films on the front !!!

So here is the Max Factor Fantasy Fire polish.....

Seeing this polish in real life I can assure you the photos really don't do it justice. The warm purple base is brought to life with a true rainbow of shimmer. The holographic effect is beautiful, with sparks of red, gold, blue and green lighting up the polish at different angles.

However, on application I did find that the polish was very sheer. I am not terribly patient when it comes to nails so a polish that dries quickly and is opaque in one or two coats is essential. Fantasy Fire needs a generous three or four coats to reveal it's beauty, and though I do love the colour and think it was worth the effort, it does require a little tenacity. The above pictures are 4 coats !!!

This nail varnish on ebay is going for a bomb but boots do have more in stock and at only £3.99 a bargain for a pretty colour. boots and superdrug.  ( Now £2.99 in Superdrug)

17 va va voom mascara !

So boots have a 3 for 2 offer on and after reading a fellow bloggers blog review on this product I thought I would give it a go and purchased it!

    So what do I think...

The packaging is quite nice and I really like the purple and silver on it.

The brush itself is quite fat and does get a lot of product on it. I didn't like the size of the brush and so have now used my maybeline falsies brush to apply this mascara. ( this also makes them longer)

However for the purpose of a proper review I have only used the 17 va va voom Mascara and brush in the photos.

The mascara applies extremely easily and and does make lashes longer without the clumping.

The only flaw I have is the brush as it was so big I did end up with mascara on my eye lid :(

But here are the photos to prove its power ........
